Karekath Apartments, opened in 1989, are 5 fully furnished and equipped self-catering apartments located directly on the West Coast beach of Barbados. The West Coast of Barbados is often referred to as the “Platinum Coast” and is renowned for clear warm waters that lap gently onto golden sands. Magnificent beaches, calm azure waters perfect for swimming and clean coral sands on which to relax and soak up the brilliant sunshine.

The apartments are secluded, offering guests the opportunity to relax in a private beach garden, or on the upstairs gazebo. You can take a soothing dip in the beautiful turquoise waters or venture out on a jetski or glass-bottom boat. You can venture out to swim with the graceful sea turtles or feed the mischievous green monkeys. Entertainment and resources are no more than two minutes away, as Karekath is in close proximity to the historic old-styled Speightstown, where guests will find a quaint shopping centre with duty free shopping, restaurants offering local and international cuisine, international banks and well-stocked supermarkets. The apartments are also a mere 8 miles away from the bustling city of Bridgetown and 20 miles away from the Grantley Adams International Airport.

Karekath Apartments have been carefully designed and painstakingly outfitted for the self-catering vacationer. They contain all the amenities of home including a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher (Neumeier only) and microwave ovens, air conditioning, am/fm cassette radios, cable colour television, VCR/ DVDs, personal safe, hair dryer, etc. There are also onsite washer and dryer facilities. Each apartment comfortably sleeps six.

Karekath offers complete relaxation: your home away from home. Our business is to pamper and serve you. There is no dress code, and car hire comes to you, as does weekly maid service. Tennis, water-skiing, golf, deep-sea fishing, island excursions, car rentals are available and can be arranged. The Diving Club is just yards away from Karekath and water sports are next door on the beach. At night, dine at gourmet restaurants serving both local and international cuisine, then dance the night away at one of numerous nightclubs around the island.
